We met on Sept.26th, 2020, at a party neither of us had planned to go to. We introduced ourselves to each other that night and talked for hours, but went our separate ways during the lockdowns. God really wanted us together, as months later, we connected again through our mutual friends, and we became inseparable. 

 

Our first date was June 13th, 2021. We went to our Sunday Mass together (we were both so nervous), and then went to Angels Diner for brunch where we talked about everything and anything. 

 

After a few weeks of hikes, dinners, and drive-ins, Liam finally worked up the courage to ask Natalia to be his girlfriend on July 2nd, 2021, on the dock of a friend's cottage while we were star gazing & we saw a shooting star.

 

Over the years of being together, we became in tune with each other's interests and passions. Liam started to like beaches more and taking Spanish lessons with Natalia’s mom, and Natalia would get excited to watch the Montreal Canadiens or Kitchener Rangers play a home game (Liam’s favourite hockey teams).

We always made sure to keep God in the centre of our relationship, as the One who put us together and has blessed us with a life that keeps us together.
